Laylatul Qadr 2025

The final 10 nights of Ramadan are the most sacred of the month, with Laylatul Qadr (The Night of Decree) being the most blessed night of the year. Worship on this night is said to be better than 1,000 months, a lifetime of devotion packed into a single night.

1

When is Laylatul Qadr 2025?

Laylatul Qadr is believed to fall on one of the odd-numbered nights in the last 10 days of Ramadan. While we don’t know the exact date, Islamic scholars say it could be on.

1

21st, 23rd, 25th, 27th, or 29th night of Ramadan

Since we don’t know the precise night, the best approach is to give your all in worship during all 10 nights.

(According to Hadith)

Signs of Laylatul Qadr

  • The night is peaceful and calm, neither too hot nor too cold.
  • The moon appears like a half-plate in the sky (Abu Dawood 2331).
  • The sun rises next morning with no strong rays (Sahih Muslim 762).
  • A deep sense of peace and tranquility fills the hearts of believers.

For the Last 10 Nights

Best Acts of Worship

  • Make heartfelt Dua by asking for Allah’s mercy and forgiveness.
  • Give charity through Sadaqah and Zakat to help those in need.
  • Engage in I’tikaf by dedicating yourself to worship in the mosque.
  • Recite and reflect on the Quran to strengthen your connection.

The Prophet (ﷺ) taught this powerful supplication:

"Allahumma innaka ‘afuwwun tuhibbul ‘afwa fa’fu ‘anni" (O Allah, You are Most Forgiving, and You love to forgive, so forgive me).

Ramadan 2025 begins on Sunday, March 2, 2025, and ends on Tuesday, April 1, 2025.
The exact dates depend on moon sightings in different regions. Stay updated with your local Islamic authority.

Ramadan is the holiest month in Islam, during which Muslims fast from dawn to sunset to develop self-discipline, gratitude, and spiritual closeness to Allah. It commemorates the month when the Quran was revealed.

"Allahumma inni laka sumtu wa bika aamantu wa ‘alayka tawakkaltu wa ‘ala rizq-ika-aftartu."
(O Allah! I fasted for You, I believe in You, I put my trust in You, and with Your sustenance, I break my fast.) [Abu Dawood 2358]

Laylatul Qadr is the Night of Decree, a night of immense blessings, where worship is better than 1,000 months. It is expected on one of the odd nights in the last 10 days of Ramadan, possibly March 22, 24, 26, 28, or 30, 2025.

Yes, your fast is still valid even if you miss Suhoor, but it is highly recommended because it gives energy for the day. The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Eat Suhoor, for in Suhoor there is a blessing." (Sahih Bukhari 1923)
